The New Digs

I finally made my move in last weekend, having never been away from home to live on my own it is a pretty refreshing experience. A new sense of responsibility and excitment is thrown on my shoulders which I feel I have embraced. It is a two bedroomed flat that sits ontop of a Supermarket, and is surrounded by two other flats. My neighbours are all married couples with children or are soon to have children. Everyone seems to mind thier own business which is pretty cool to me cause I pretty much Keep to my self.

The flat is generally empty for now as I have no furniture, hardly any food, no gas. I rely on fast food and canned pineapples to sustain me, not to mention a serious lunch at work.I should be getting my furniture in one and a half weeks time which will be a welcome addition to my spartan arrangement.

The lonliness does get to me, as I have no one to talk to nor do i have enough credit to sustain meaningful conversations with my friends.

I'm now free from distractions and can let my inner voice prompt me, hopefully fill me with thoughts and advice that I can benefit from. My expenditure has generally gone down, which is a plus. I'm also much more conscious about where and how I spend my money.

This is indeed a milestone in my life which I intend to follow up with the purchase of a car and further purchase of my own house.
