Getting it cranked
Yesterday I finally managed to get hold of a home theater System ie. Phillips HTS3110 at a cost of Ksh. 26000.

First impressions, It is a vast improvement from the earlier DVD player I had ( Phillips DVP 5500S/03.) The UI is similar but much faster though I do Have issues with the "Reading Index" Screen while processing a Divx movie. The sound is Amazing though I'm yet to test the full power of the speakers....to be done over the weekend.
The MP3 Processing is top Notch. I'm yet to see if it still handles OGGs better than the DVD player. I will add additional info for those of you planning to get this item.
A few shortcomings, at the price point I expected USB support, Functions such as sleep appear not to be there any more. Better handling of DIVx files.
