Welcome 2007
Happy New Year…2006 is over…thank god…’m hoping that 2007 will be better than any year I’ve ever had.
This year is going to be focused on 3 important aspects namely:
- Financial growth: Mid 2006 marked a significant change of tact as far as financial planning and growth went. I embarked on trading in shares directly in the stock exchange a departure from my prior approach of investing only in managed funds in both Old mutual and Zimele asset managers .
- Education: In the first quarter of 2007 I will complete my research project for my course in public relations. Further towards the last quarter of 2007 I’d like to begin my MBA in international business management at the University of Nairobi.
- Extracurricular activities: In the years past majority of my free time has been spent in destructive behavior both physically and emotionally. It is my intent to correct this. I’m picking up photography as a hobby and I have begun reading on it and will be purchasing a digital camera.
It is my hope that this year will be different from all the others. But most importantly I will afford time to myself steering away from useless destructions.
"Life's creative solutions require alonetime. Solitude is required for the unconscious to process and unravel problems. Others inspire us, information feeds us, practice improves our performance, but we need quiet time to figure things out, to emerge with new discoveries, to unearth original answers."
