Do you ever think about your life?
Don!!! Do you ever think about your life? This is the question I was asked by a close friend on our drive down to the pub. This is an interesting question, frankly it is not the first time I've heard this.
I often reflect on this daily...MY LIFE...WHERE IS IT HEADING? I think there are 2 key areas I consider and it was interesting to learn that these themes are shared:
Money: Financial capability in a capitalist world where success/failure is measured through perception which creates significant pressure on an individual. This is because we base our success/failure by comparing ourselves with others mainly our friends
Relationships: We value our relationships in our lives. As a guy I think having a stable relationship with someone of the opposite sex is indeed a measure by which we define ourselves and shape the opinion others have of us.
This is what I picked up from my pal as he broke down. I suspect the huge amount of booze he had consumed had something to do with it.
Anyway I wasn’t sure what to tell him…but in my mind…..YOU CAN ONLY BE ONE PERSON……..YOU
